🎯 FRAME-FIRST STRATEGY — Why We Target Placers, Not Winners

This lane is built for placers rather than winners. Placepots and frame bets reward consistency, rhythm, and suitability — not outright winning ability. A horse can finish 2nd, 3rd, or 4th and still deliver full value, which is why we avoid short-priced favourites and instead focus on 4/1+ frame horses with strong Instant Expert, course, pace, or stamina angles.

The 4/1 rule isn’t about chasing big odds — it’s about avoiding shorties who add no value to the pool return. A 6/4 favourite placing pays the same as a 14/1 placer, so we only select horses whose place value outweighs their win expectation.

Prices may drift or contract after the picks are made — that’s normal. The selections are based on the profile at the time of analysis, not the live market. The underlying logic remains the same: we’re backing horses with high frame probability, not betting on the SP.

Nothing stops you from backing the winner with these picks — many of them do win — but the selection process is built on the place aspect first, not outright victory.

This is a frame-first discipline, built for pool leverage, rhythm, and consistency.

🏇 Banker • Buffer • Rogue — Staking Plan

One race, three lanes: Banker, Buffer, Rogue. Stakes are always split: 50% Banker • 30% Buffer • 20% Rogue, with the OB Rule keeping the Banker at 4/1+.

All stakes are placed each‑way, so every lane is: ½ win • ½ place. That keeps the structure consistent and easy to scale up or down.

🟦 Low‑Risk Version — £6 Total Stake

Ideal for testing cards, quiet days, or keeping exposure tight while still running the full lane logic.

  • Banker — 50% (£3)
    £1.50 E/W ( £1.50 win + £1.50 place )
  • Buffer — 30% (£2)
    £1.00 E/W ( £1 win + £1 place )
  • Rogue — 20% (£1)
    £0.50 E/W ( £0.50 win + £0.50 place )

Summary: £3 Banker • £2 Buffer • £1 Rogue = £6 total. Same structure, lower risk — perfect starter lane.

🟨 Medium‑Risk Version — £10 Total Stake

A natural step up when you like the card: same lane ratios, just scaled for a bit more punch.

  • Banker — 50% (£5)
    £2.50 E/W ( £2.50 win + £2.50 place )
  • Buffer — 30% (£3)
    £1.50 E/W ( £1.50 win + £1.50 place )
  • Rogue — 20% (£2)
    £1.00 E/W ( £1 win + £1 place )

Summary: £5 Banker • £3 Buffer • £2 Rogue = £10 total. Same discipline, more upside when the read is strong.

Once the lanes are set, you can drop either version straight onto any race:
• 3 picks per race (Banker / Buffer / Rogue)
• OB Rule active (Banker 4/1+)
• Then choose: £6 Low‑Risk or £10 Medium‑Risk depending on confidence.

🌟 Race of the Day — Wolverhampton 14:00 (Maiden Fillies)

Cleanest data race on the early Wolves card. Standard surface riding true. OB Rule respected — Banker offers better value than the pure RTR favourite. Re-weighted for price + overlays.

🔹 Banker • Buffer • Rogue (OB Rule Applied)

Banker: Rajiba
Buffer: Foxy Night
Rogue: Navona Grey

🎬 Scene-Setter

Wolves 14:00 is the most data-stable race of the early card. Rajiba combines solid RTR with a clearer price advantage over the favourite. Foxy Night remains the main danger on pure metrics, while Navona Grey supplies the genuine rogue angle.

🧠 Tactical Narrative

Expected honest pace. Rajiba can sit handy and strike. Foxy Night tracks the leaders and stays on. Navona Grey is the closer — dangerous if the front-runners go too hard.

🔍 Quick Profiles

  • Rajiba — Solid RTR, better price, strong AW suitability.
  • Foxy Night — Top pure RTR, short but still the main threat.
  • Navona Grey — Progressive profile, late-kick potential, value.

🎯 Kev’s Angle

This is the Wolves race where value and metrics line up. Rajiba is the re-weighted premium selection — OB compliant and stronger than a pure RTR favourite play.

🤖 Guest’s Layer

The top trio still dominate the metrics — ideal for placepots, doubles, and structured staking on the AW with a clearer value bias.

🧠 Tactical Narrative

Expected honest pace. Sonic Angel can sit handy and control. Siouxperb tracks the leaders and stays on. Royal Strike is the closer — dangerous if the front-runners overdo it.

🔍 Quick Profiles

  • Sonic Angel — Solid RTR, better price, strong support angles.
  • Siouxperb — Top pure RTR, short but still the one to beat.
  • Royal Strike — Unexposed, longer price, progressive upside.
